Welcome to JobX, Vassar's Student Employment Job Registration System!

If you have any questions, please contact us!

Important FYI:

-The student wage is currently $14.60/hour for Academic Year and Break jobs effective 8/28/23 unless otherwise specified on the job posting.

-Academic Year Job registration is now open to all students.

-Be sure to bring original documents with you to campus to complete your I-9 if you have not worked on campus before: **copies cannot be accepted**.

Good luck in your job search! Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Start by applying for as many jobs as you are interested in.
  • New Jobs are posted frequently so check back regularly.
  • You may not receive a response to your applications right away.
  • Continue to actively apply, even throughout the semester if necessary. Don’t get discouraged!
  • If you are selected for a position, the supervisor of that job will notify you. If you do not hear back from the jobs you have applied to after 2 weeks, reach out to the supervisor at the email provided on the job posting.
  • If you receive multiple job offers, or decide you no longer want a position, please notify the respective supervisor immediately so that they can find a replacement.
