Welcome to JobX, Vassar's Student Employment Job Registration System!

If you have any questions, please contact us!

Important FYI:

  • Academic year jobs are now in session! For a full calendar of '25-'26 dates, check out our job registration calendar.

  • Be sure to bring original documents with you to campus to complete your I-9 if you have not worked on campus before. **Copies, scans, and/or photos cannot be accepted.**

  • Spring job registration is now open to Work Study Students! Job registration will open to all students on 2/20/26 at 11am.

  • Winter break jobs will be in session 1/2-1/20/26. If you have not been hired in JobX for your winter break job, please ask your supervisor to hire you immediately so you can work for the break.

  • The student wage is currently $15.50/hour for Academic Year and Break jobs effective 1/1/25. Wages will increase to $16.00 per hour effective 12/31/25.

  • To monitor your hours in Workday, follow these instructions.

Good luck in your job search! Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Start by applying for as many jobs as you are interested in.
  • New Jobs are posted frequently so check back regularly.
  • You may not receive a response to your applications right away.
  • Continue to actively apply, even throughout the semester if necessary. Don’t get discouraged!
  • If you are selected for a position, the supervisor of that job will notify you. If you do not hear back from the jobs you have applied to after 2 weeks, reach out to the supervisor at the email provided on the job posting.
  • If you receive multiple job offers, or decide you no longer want a position, please notify the respective supervisor immediately so that they can find a replacement.
